| First Show for 2009
- JD | Tue Dec 30, 2008 |
2008 was a big year for The Devilrock Four playing over 50 shows including their first European tour as well as national runs with Airbourne, Lime Spiders and The Hitmen to name a few. They released a single, starred in a TV ad for the Victorian government...hilarious I know and Carl even got a haircut. But enough of 2008 because 2009 has even more in store for the band. There's a new album in the making and plenty of new material to start roadtesting, at last we get to the real reason for this press release. The Devilrock Four bring in the new year a little belatedly with their first 2009 show at Yah Yah's in Collingwood Saturday January 10th. There's 2 sets from 9.30pm and entry is free. With the guys having not played for a while the stage is set for a high energy rock n roll filled night.
January also sees the band hit San Remo, Bendigo and Torquay. Dates to be up soon. |

| Last show for the year
- JD | Sun Nov 30, 2008 |
The band head out of the city to Mildura, Victoria on Saturday December 13th for their last show for the year. It's free entry and is the last time they'll hit that area for a while as they commence work on their second album in the new year. New venue Yah Yah's in Melbourne will host their first show for 2009 on January 10th, also free entry.
Thanks for a great year.

| Signing with Zatzit Records
- jonny | Fri Mar 24, 2006 |
We here at The Devilrock Headquarters are pleased to announce our signing with Melbourne label Zatzit Records. James Young of Zatzit has been extremely enthusiastic about the band for some time now and the guys are looking forward to working with him in the future. The deal was inked a month or two ago and since then the band has been in Sing Sing studios in Melbourne recording their debut long player. It was a rigorous task with tours of South Australia and Tasmania in between recording sessions but I am very pleased to confirm that the album is finished and sounds great. Matt Voigt (Kiss, The Living End, Cat Power) was the engineer at the helm and went above and beyond the call of duty to finish the record in a measely 15 days, thanks Matt. A special thanks for everyone's patience while the website has been under construction. It is far from finished but will only get better in the coming weeks. We will keep everyone informed about the album's release date and in the meantime keep checking the site for gigs and news.
